ZARA GIRLS stock clearance finds for PETITES

Finally, my hubby and I have the same day off to take some blog photos. Sometimes I would walk by the Zara girls section because kids clothes length are just right for us petite girls. For me, girls clothes is a hit or miss. Sometimes, even if it fits, it doesn't look right. Or at times, the colors are too childlike (ie. bright pink, neon green). But, this winter, I found a few jackets I love from Zara girls. I was rather shocked that I ended up wearing a size 9-10 for the grey quarter jacket. But, I guess that jacket runs large. 3 jackets for $70 was such a good deal! If you are petite too, check Zara girls out :) Girls clothes cutting tends to be different but with jackets, skirts, and leggings/skinny pants, girls clothes are perfect for us petites. Stay warm this winter girls!

WONDERFLEX: SCRUBS FOR PETITES, GREYS ANATOMY STYLE

You ever notice scrubs don't look the same on TV than they do on people in the hospital. It's because they tailor the ones on TV so they look fitted. No hospital scrubs fit me right because I'm so tiny. Luckily, Wonder Wink's WonderFlex came out with scrubs that fit me without alterations. Details about those scrubs and links to where you can get them are posted here. Scrubs became my every day wear minus clinic days. So, here goes my everyday 10min makeup + hair in scrubs look.

I bought these in navy blue, grey, and black. I got 1 scrub top, 1 slim fit pants, and 1 regular fit per color. WonderFlex is about $10 - $15 less than the Grey's Anatomy scrubs. Click here for detail measurements.

I mentioned in my last post that I LOVE the pockets. So functional. I don't have to wear my white coat everywhere and my stuff never falls out! As described here, this is how I use my pockets :)

As mentioned in my previous posts, I permed my hair. Regular perm, not digital perm. I didn't iron curl my hair. I wake up in the morning and my hair looks like this with a little frizz. I didn't highlight my hair either. My perm changed the color of my hair over time and I guess my hair looks lightened up from all the scattered white hair on my head. I do simple everyday 10min makeup which includes concealer, eyeliner, and brow gel. If I look a little pale, I will toss on blush. But, that's about it.

Anthropologie RUFFLES & LACE IN THE SUN: ZARA SALE - EMBROIDERED SLEEVELESS JUMPSUIT

Finally got a weekend off so my hubby and I went to celebrate and spent the weekend at Santa Monica beach. What a lovely stay at Shutters on the Beach. I loved the 3 shower head shower and the Jacuzzi bath. It was so relaxing to just stare out into the ocean and fall asleep under the sun. And we got lucky, our weekend fell right into the DINE LA week so we got to try so many delicious foods for a fraction of the price. It wasn't that hot on the beach so I tossed on a hoodie I posted on this blog a couple weeks ago. Without further ado, here are some pictures!

BP SKINNY MINI SWEATPANTS (Junior) $24.90

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these sweats. Slim fit with a loose casual look that is chic. It's thin so it won't make the legs look bigger, but it's thick enough so it doesn't look see through. It's great for petites! The length (29' inseam) is PERFECT. I highly recommend this. Great for lounging, working out, long study nights, sleepwear, or a casual sporty look.

MY DIY VINTAGE WEDDING: Yellow, Grey, and Navy Blue

Hi everyone,

Hope you guys had a great weekend! In celebration of my 5 friends that got engaged in the past few months, I decided to do a wedding post and blog about some of my wedding DIY projects.
