Hi everyone,

Hope you guys had a great weekend!  In celebration of my 5 friends that got engaged in the past few months, I decided to do a wedding post and blog about some of my wedding DIY projects.  Here is a sneak peak of some highlights.  I will have to do separate posts on the wedding DIY projects and how to work with a wedding budget.  So stay tuned!  For those who have asked me who my blog photographer is, all credits go to my hubby ^.^  He took all the photos for me in the little free time he has to be supportive of my new hobby.  I am the luckiest wife ever! NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE: my top picks

I have not gone shopping in a long time since I get off work when the mall is already closed.  But, I was off night shift today and decided to stroll in Nordstrom for a quick 30min shopping break and found out they are having an anniversary sale (open to card holders only for 2 more days, then open to public).  I came across some items that went straight to my wish list.  Here they are...

Vince Camuto lace Hem Stretch Ponte Pencil Skirt 

(Regular and petite - $78.90 from $119)

This reminds me of a burnt piece of paper but replacing the burnt away part with lace.  So pretty!  Debating if I should buy it though.  It's so unique and gorgeous.  But, I have so many pencil skirts already.  Maybe if I don't forget about this skirt in a week, I'll go back and see if I'll buy it :)

                         

Louise et Cie 'Andora' Over the Knee Boot (LEFT) $134.90 from $199.95

similar to Stuart Weitzman 5050 boots (RIGHT) , $635

Difference: SW '5050' has a 19' shaft, 'Andora' has a 21' shaft

So if you are shorter like me, the 5050 might be a better option.  But, both are very similar and form fitting.  Great alternative to the $635 boots!  Love all time classic, black leather boots~

Joe's 'Ali' Ankle Strap Pump $96.90 from $144.95

Sole Society Hilary Flats $64.95

Tried it on in person, it's cute and comfy.  The leather is not as soft as the Halogen flats below but still pretty comfortable for work if you have to walk a lot.

Halogen 'leah' Leather Flats. $59.90 from $89.95

Literally the most butter soft shoes I've tried on in awhile.  So comfortable and chic with no toe cleavage.  I love this pair of shoes :)  Great investment for upcoming ambulatory rotations at work.  I'm so excited to wear these soon.

This is just a quick post because the code HOTOUT will expire soon.  It's such a good deal to get quality Jcrew pants for $29.99 (if you are okay with colors like khaki and white).  These arrived at my door step yesterday and I finally got a chance to try them on today.  I am beyond pleased with the quality and cutting (especially for the low price tag!!!)  I would say it is comparable to the Banana Sloan trousers.  I bought both pair in 00p and it fits me like a glove.  They are very versatile, and classic wardrobe staple.  Can't wait to wear them when I start ambulatory care rotation.
